The guide focuses on the two major fun areas of Thailand: Bangkok and Pattaya. These two settings provide arguably the best combination of entertainment, serious fun, and value.

The book contrasts the high-energy cosmopolitan city against the lively laid-back beach town. There's a more detailed look at Pattaya than Bangkok because it's possible. Bangkok is simply too large as it's a sprawling city with a sprawling amount of nightlife while Pattaya is at least comprehensible since it's small and concentrated with a mere 2,000 to 3,000 bars.

I like what you said about Face.  I took my girl and her friend out on a tour. It went over well and was a happy day for all. I gained great face.  I think that if had spent more than a week (all I had) with the girl I was with, it would have been easy to become more emotionally involved.

I've got to tell you, my trip had to be one of the best weeks of my life as I couldn't stop smiling and really feeling alive.

I'm a sucker for the Girlfriend Experience and spent all my time with the same girl.  At the end of my trip she insisted on going with me to the airport (two hours each way) just to see me off. She paid her own way back home. They really make you feel special. Whether it's real or not, it still feels good.

What the book taught me more than anything else was how to respect these girls. I'm from England and girls there are so different.

Thai girls are cleaner when compared to living conditions, far more polite, and have this aura around them that I just cannot explain, but I'm sure you understand.

I find the points you make about Thai culture, customs, sensitivities and the backrounds of the people I am likely to meet very interesting.

Hopefully, I'll avoid making major farang mistakes my first time there.

This was my first trip to Thailand and without the advice in the Guide, it would have been a far different trip - as in, not nearly as incredible!

The book made me realize that I cannot bring "Western" thinking and habits to Thailand - especially when dealing with Thai women.

As far as the book goes, it was all you promised it to be. I'm not new to the mongering scene, but am new to Thailand.

The book helped me understand the girls' view points. I loosened them up enough to where they were comfortable with me. The girls and I had a great time!

A lot of girls did not believe it was my first time there (Ha Ha). I finally just told them I had been to Thailand before (it was less complicated that way).

Help! I can't put the book down.

I am into the last part of the book, and I'm kind of hesitating to finish it because I don't want it to end.

We were sitting around the resort's pool and I noticed Noi had not brought anything to read so I lent her your book.

She was absolutely fascinated. Apart from asking me what a few phrases and words meant, she could read it pretty well (Noi had been to university).
